ECOS Company has won the bid invited by the National Water Company of Saudi Arabia for the project of Improvement the North and the East Plants in Manfouha WWTP in the Saudi capital Riyadh. The Project task is to upgrade the total capacity of both plants from 400 000 to 500 000 m³/day and to improve the effluent quality up to the required standard: 10 mg/l or less BOD and SS.

In accordance with the contract conditions, this task should be solved only by process optimizing, without construction of any additional facilities, provided that the existing plants should stay in operation without interruption during the improvement works and without temporary deterioration of the effluent quality.

All works under the project should be completed within 12 months.
